This set of 4 includes everything you need to carve an acanthus leaf: - #3 Large Round Eye Punch Carving Chisel The large round eye punch is a very handy tool. While a 3/8” eye is often too large for most hand-carved faces unless scaled up, it works very well to create many good elements such as the eye of a flower, the laid back ears of a mouse, and can even be used as a tight scoop. - #7 Fast Cut Carving Chisel Whether you’re cutting off a wire-thin tendril or carving in a deep curving line, the fast-cut chisel gives you the strength of a crowbar with the cutting edge of a razor blade. Used for cutting in ears, carving out long flowing whiskers, and even splitting down bar stock; the fast cut chisel is a must have from our carving set. - #20 Small Fuller Set Hammer Carving Chisel The small fuller is based around a roughly 3/16” radius allowing you to make a line in a piece of steel without cutting it. Fullers are used in a wide variety of carving and chasing work from the hollows of a mules ears to the texture around an owl’s eyes. - #21 Large Fuller Set Hammer Carving Chisel The large fuller is based around a roughly 1/4” radius allowing you to make a line in a piece of steel without cutting it. Fullers are used in a wide variety of carving and chasing work from the hollows of a mules ears to the texture around an owl’s eyes.

This set of 4 includes everything you need to carve a daisy flower: - #2 Medium Round Eye Punch Carving Chisel The medium eye punch is the most commonly used and creates a roughly 1⁄4” eye. Like the small eye punch, the center of the eye is forged, not drilled, allowing for the creation of a pupil. Furthermore, the small eye punch can be used on an eyeball made by the medium eye punch to make a very vivid pupil. The medium eye punch is used for many varieties of animal head, faces such as wizard head, and other carvings. - #8 Straight Carving Chisel The straight chisel can cut off a thin slice like the fast cut; its sharp corners give it the ability to put a good hard ending on a line. The straight chisel is used heavily where crisp lines are needed in carving or in the chasing of typed letters and numbers. - #12 Large Scoop Carving Chisel The large scoop chisel is a butcher ground blade forged around a roughly 1” radius. It can be used in chasing to draw scrolls and circles. For carving, it can be used on one side for a troughing action or flipped over to the other side to cut in and push up a curve, such as the gills or scale on a fish or dragon, or to give the representation of folds in long flowing hair. - #15 Large Ball Fuller Carving Chisel The large ball fuller is based on a 3/8” sphere that tapers out into a cone. Its uses include larger carving and contouring of surfaces for smooth transition.

This set of 4 includes everything you need to carve a horse head: - #6 Wolf Eye Punch Carving Chisel Wolf eye punches are oval-shaped with diamonds as the eye or as the pupil. This provides a very aggressive looking eye that is perfect not only for wolves but also predatory birds, snakes and even very serious horses. - #8 Straight Carving Chisel The straight chisel can cut off a thin slice like the fast cut; its sharp corners give it the ability to put a good hard ending on a line. The straight chisel is used heavily where crisp lines are needed in carving or in the chasing of typed letters and numbers. - #11 Small Scoop Carving Chisel The small scoop chisel is a butcher ground blade forged around a roughly 3/4” radius. It can be used in chasing to draw scrolls and circles. For carving, it can be used on one side for a troughing action or flipped over to the other side to cut in and push up a curve, such as the gills or scale on a fish or dragon, or to give the representation of folds in long flowing hair. - #23 Offset Center Punch Carving Chisel The offset center punch mark is perfect for starting an indentation in a piece of steel straight on and then dropping the angle of the chisel and driving along the surface of that piece of steel to create a swell as it plows though.
